I feel a new beginning is emerging. The Universe had its way of slowing me down, quite dramatically, through a car crash. It happened on Saturday, 9 August, and paramedics took me to the A&E at West Suffolk Hospital.
Brutal, yes, but perhaps it was the only way I'd truly stop, be still, and listen.
I had a head-to-pelvis CT scan, which luckily didn't show anything broken or internal bleeding. However, diagnosed with atelectasis (collapse of part of the lung) and injured ribs, I was struggling with chest and rib pain, taking deep breaths, and walking.
These past few weeks of recovering at home have been a journey of slowing down, listening to my body, and allowing myself and my soul to heal. Now, on the other side of healing, I carry an unshakable gratitude for life itself. Life reminds us what truly matters, and I've found clarity and perspective in that quiet space.
I'm deeply grateful to be here, and I feel, more than ever, that the Universe always have our back.
So, let's embrace the adventure ahead, seize every opportunity, and leave the naysayers behind.
The time has come to follow your own path, with courage, clarity, and unstoppable faith in what's possible.
All the best,
Catharina
P.S. Never forget to wear your seatbelt - it can save your life.
